Picking Numbers For Business Projections

Putting together a budget or cash flow projection can be daunting. It can take a long, frustrating experience if you don’t know some of the basics.

I’ve done hundreds of cash flow projections. Over time, I realized there was a pattern in how I chose how to project numbers. I’ve summarized this pattern for you in this video.

Deciding how to pick numbers for budgets or cash flow projections is a simple two-step process. Each step has options that I explain. I also show examples of how all this fits together.
