Quick Insight
1. What should you start doing?
2. What should you stop doing?
3. What should you continue doing?Feedback is important to running a successful business. After all, it lets people better understand their current performance and identify ways to improve.
But not everybody is good at giving (or receiving) feedback. Fortunately, there’s a simple process you can use that will help you overcome these challenges. It’s called Start-Stop-Continue.
Start-Stop-Continue is a simple process where you ask your employees or customers:
1. What should you start doing?
2. What should you stop doing?
3. What should you continue doing?
It’s that easy. But it’s very useful. The Start-Stop-Continue template ensures that all feedback received is action-oriented.
I’ve used it as part of executive groups and I’ve adapted it for small businesses. My template also expands its uses. You can use it to assess your own tasks or business. You can also use it to get feedback from employees and customers.
See the Further Insight section below for links to more information and my template for Start-Stop-Continue.
I wish you clear feedback from your customers and employees. I wish you well.
